Education
Education will pave the way towards a better future for all. We support basic education in rural Daikundi where education infrastructure has been badly neglected in the past decades. In collaboration with local partners, we are supporting female English teachers for basic English classes for kids. Moreover, we also support advanced English classes.
English courses for kids
We support ten female teachers who offer free English classes for kids in remote villages. In February 2026, more than 1000 students attended our classes.
A school for Bargar
In Bargar, we helped the villagers build a school for their kids. Three teachers have been struggling to teach over 100 kids in a tiny inadequate building so far. Often, they had to teach outside. But soon, the new building will be ready for use.
Teacher training
Our English teachers do an amazing job bringing education to a remote region. However, none of them were able to study English or pedagogics at university due to Taliban restrictions. While we cannot make up for this, we have started some online trainings for the teachers to work on their skills. We are looking for volunteers to work with our teachers.
School bag distribution
Many children have to walk long distances to attend school every day. We distributed school bags, notebooks and pens to the kids in Bargar. This will motivate them to attend school every day.
